  • Overpayment no services used

My account is 6019183097500516, my name is Steve Adams and my zip is 92107. On 2/28/17 I mistakingly submitted a bill pay payment via bank of America. I have not used Carecredit service in more than 3yrs and my balance has been $0.00 the entire time. Please refund the Overpayment immediately. Since I know GE has been reported continuously for not returning Overpayment amounts on accounts with zero balance I am contacting my bank to report fraud as well as the better business Bureau, yelp, Google, Facebook, Twitter and the entire Internet community if this is not returned within 10 business... • No Access to my account

This ticket has been resolved or replied to by this company. For the past 4 months I have called multiple times about not being able to access my account online. Your call center staff do not speak English well and can only run through the same script. We have established that the problem is not with my computer (we have cleared the cache, checked the browser etc.). Twice I have been told that the problem will be referred to a technical supervisor who will fix the problem, but nothing has been done. I have used online account management and bill paying for over a year with no problem. I had problems with paper billing-bills were frequently late or... More...

  • Refund Needed for services cancelled

This ticket has been resolved or replied to by this company. I have made a deposit for services that I cancelled prior to the two-week cancellation window for an appointment that I do not intend to have because everything was not explained to me about the procedure up front from the health provider. I would like a full refund for the deposit of $760. This is absolutely unacceptable. How can Care Credit hold dates for appointments and refuse refunds of deposits? They aren't the actual health provider! It's a credit card! I'm paying for nothing!!! I hate Care Credit and will never use another GE product if this isn't fixed. Have you... More...

  • Can not make payments or view statements

I can not make my payments or view my statements online. Website allows me in, then when I try to click on anything it makes me log in again, then gives me an error code. Has gone on for weeks! Spoke with a representative when making my payment via phone, they had no idea why, suggested I continue to try and that I was waiting too long to do this an timing was a matter of seconds, told the representative this and she said hmmm, I'm not sure. What a response! No offer of connecting me to the person to assist me with this or anything. I do all of my bills online, and chose... More...

  • Web site never accessible

I have tried to make monthly payments via internet for three (3) months. Every time I try to logon I receive a message that the information I entered was not correct (i.e., last 4 digits of SSN and DOB) and then other times I don't receive this message but a different one that the website is down. This is within a minute or two of the previous attempt to logon. I don't pay my bills any other way than via internet so I cannot pay by check. What is wrong with Care Credit's website? This is ongoing for 3 months. More...

  • Minimum payment allocation

I recently paid $50 over the minimum payment amount, but rather than that money being put towards the deferred interest payment due to expire in February, it was put towards the fixed interest payment that doesn't expire for approximately five years. When I called the first time, on December 6th, a young man told me that it looked as if the payment hadn't been allocated yet, and to check back in a few days. when I checked on December 13, nothing about the allocation of the payment had changed. Also, I have a 'finance charge purchases refund' on my transaction... More...

  • Worst Credit Card - Care Credit credit card

I opened a Care Credit account a couple of years ago when my husband needed to have dental work done. The first time I used it, I paid the card off in a couple of months. I didn’t have any problems. The second time that I used the card has been a whole different ball game. One of my dogs had to have an emergency spay. I got on line and found out my Care Credit card was still active and useable. I went ahead and had both of my babies fixed. I put it all on that stupid card. One week later. I paid the balance before I received the bill. Without skipping a beat, I received the bill... More...
  • Charging late fees

I had an account for some dental work i had done. Set my account up for auto pay..never was late not even once and made more than the min payment. For my final payment i turned off the auto payment and paid the final balance. Later i was told because i turned off my auto pay my payment wasnt made and i had to pay late fees( didnt matter that the website and confirmtion email said i made the payment) the employee Gary Stephan and managers Rob Hampton and Frank Mccoy ( who refused to speak to me) made the whole experience awful. • Account Closed reviews

I had $2000 credit balance with care credit and had made all my payments in a timely manner previously. I went to dentist today and suddenly the account is closed due to 12 months inactivity - though I had used it and been paying with in the past year. Care credit messed everything up as now I cannot pay my dentist. I would not have scheduled my appointment if I would have known they would close the account. I tried calling in to speak with someone, but all I get is "Your account is closed. Goodbye." Not a human, a machine..... More...

  • Billing Correction

My wife and I made a payment 9/10 of $250.00 to the above account. On 9/17, CareCredit reversed the payment stating they never got it and charged us a late fee. We called customer service who stated we had to send a copy of the cancelled check. A copy of the cleared check was sent twice on 9/25 (See attachment). Several follow up phone calls were made to Customer Service and they stated they never got the copies. They stated it was clear we had not sent them. We sent more copies of the cancelled check. On 9/28, Customer Service acknowledged they had gotten the copies of the cancelled... More...

  • Refund Due

I have been waiting for my insurance company to pay a portion of my dental bill; now that they have, I have a credit due to me on my Care Credit account. Having explained to the "escalation" representative that the monthly payments to them have caused serious financial hardship, the woman refused to expedite my refund. I was told again and again that it would take 10-14 business days and that several of those days are for in-house processing. I cannot believe that asking the accounting department to cut me a check will take several DAYS. Care Credit has no problem taking the... More...

  • Unreasonable interest charges

My wife first found out about CareCredit GE MoneyBank from her dermatologist after being diagnosed with skin cancer. It sounded like a good deal at the time but GE Money had some sneaky ways of tacking on large amounts of interest. For example she had to return for for additional treatments to get all of the cancer. These additional treatments were considered separate charges subject to interest if not paid off. We made every payment on time always paying more than what was due. On our last payment there was a problem with their website and it would not accept the final payment. When I... More...

  • Credit

Request to have name on the card as C. Mark Tyler. I received an account with GE Money bank under that name. The card was returned and the account closed. The credit card listed the name as "Charles". I do not go by the name of Charles, I never have. I refuse to open a new account under that name. I do not answer to Charles. Mail that comes addressed to Charles will be marked "RETURN TO SENDER address unknown" and put back in the mail. All my credit cards, bank account, title of house, automobile title, list the name as C. Mark Tyler. What do I need to do, based... More...

  • The Mystery Account

After learning that I would need to open a Care Credit Account to afford my cat's surgery, I opened my account and registered it online. Just yesterday, I visited the website and PAID OFF the balance on my Care Credit account. Then, earlier today, I received a call from GE Money/Care Credit telling me I needed to pay the minimum balance on my Care Credit account. Obviously confused, I called Care Credit and talked to a woman who informed me that yes, I had paid my balance, but I had ANOTHER account which was open and accruing a balance AND late fees. I asked the indifferent customer... More...
  • Account

The people I bought my hearing aid from recommended I finance through GE-Care More. I am 85 years old. It was supposed to be no interest. Several months later, when I wanted to pay it off, it was much higher than the zero interest. I sent them a check for the settlement amount and marked check "if full payment of my account # and enclosed it with a letter which also said "in full payment of my account." They cashed the check. They are still sending me bills and calling me every hour from early morning to late at night. I just called them back and went up two... More...

  • Interest

I got my GE account by purchasing a bed at Mattress Firm. Where the manager explain to us that account have interest free for48 months sd what you dont pay by that time interest will be added on the unpaid balance. Well back in Nov 2008 I was in the hospital missed a payment and they added on the interest on my account when it wasnt suppose to be added on until 4/2010. It's no where on my contract that state this would happen. Customer service said it ws on my statement. I dont think that's good enough statements are a courtesy that's not a way to let a consumer know interest... More...
